Shimmergloom Isle is located off of the coast of Whisperwind Harbor.
This large island is covered in pitch black obsidian stone and pockmarked with pools of bubbling black acid. The center of the island is dominated by a large volcano with a massive pit of black acid in its crater.
History: Long ago, it is local legend that this island was home to an ancient black dragon that was the source of the acid covering the island. It is said that the great dragonborn hero Sissithyk traveled to the island and slayed the dragon with the fabled Banishing Blade.
